Interested in organizing Pervasive Health 2011?

Pervasive Health is becoming the reference event for practitioners, researchers and industries interested in the field of Pervasive Technologies for Healthcare. In the past, the event has been held in Innsbruck (2006), in Tampere (2008), in London (2009) and this time the event will be held in Munich (2010). Location for Pervasive Health 2011 is open and on behalf of the steering committee we invite all interested groups to participate for the bid for organization of 2011 event.

Pervasive Health organization includes two main committees: Scientific Committee responsible for the scientific/technical quality of the event (appointed every year) and Finance Committee, responsible for all administrative, logistic and financial risks (permanent committee run by ICST). This Call for Proposers is for people interested in Chairing the Scientific Committee for the 2011 event.

Submission Guidelines

The form of the bid is free, but we need the following information in order to make a decision:

Intended location for the conference
Name of Conference Chair - inc brief bio (max 1/2 page)
Name of at least one TPC chair - inc brief bio (max 1/2 page)
Name of Local Chair - inc brief bio (max 1/2 page)
Brief statement of chairs' experience of running events
What are the initial planned dates (around March 2011)
Ideas on sponsorship
Is there a specific direction/theme you would envisage for 2011 event
Any new features/tracks you would like to include or other changes you would like to make to the conference
Brief description (1/2 - 1 page) of possible conference venue site(s)

The bids (and any questions) can be sent to PervasiveHealth2010 ("at") create-net-ml.org anytime before March 5, 2010. The decision will be communicated to the bidders during Pervasive Health 2010 in Munich.
